We Gather Strength As We Go Along

Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding

Similar to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mayaro Rio Claro Regional Corporation (MRCRC), The Vehicle Management Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (VMCOTT) signed another Management MOU for the management of the workshop and vehicle fleet of the Port of Spain City Corporation (POSC).
The arrangement between VMCOTT and the MRCRC and the POSC is part of VMCOTT’s Strategic Plan to forge partnerships with the Rural and Municipal Corporations throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
On July 30th, 2018, VMCOTT’s Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Natasha Prince and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ret’d. Lt. Col. Neil Bennett of VMCOTT; this time closed the deal with the POSC’s – Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Annette Stapleton-Seaforth.

This MOU will allow VMCOTT to improve and modernize the POSC Workshop. The process shall begin with the procurement and installation of all necessary tools and equipment; then transcend to VMCOTT’s management of the Workshop inclusive of technical administrative management services and the implementation/execution of fleet management systems.

POSC staff will reap the benefits of modern equipment and technology and specialized training that will enhance their capabilities and empower them within the workplace. Meanwhile the Corporation itself will benefit from cost savings inherent with the partnership arrangement as well as a superior quality of service.

The partnership is fully supported by the Amalgamated Workers Union who is encouraging the staff to take full advantage of the opportunities and better working conditions made available by the Corporation via its partnership with VMCOTT.
